Melanin Med aims to increase the number of ~melanated~ health professionals & allies.

 

What is Scholarships for Scholarships?

​

We are piloting a mentorship program in which melanated health professionals, health students, and allies guide graduating Black high school students through locating and applying for local scholarships. For every local scholarship application high school students complete and submit with their mentor's help, Melanin Med will give the graduating high school mentee an additional $100 towards their college expenses, up to $1000 per student. Through this program, we aim to help students who may not be aware of or have support in applying for local scholarships become recipients of those scholarships along with ours!
